MouseMate (“the app”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
1. Data Collection
MouseMate does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
The app does not collect:
– Personal information
– Usage analytics
– Device identifiers
– Screen content
2. Screen Recording Permission
MouseMate may request macOS screen recording permission ONLY when the user activates the lens (magnifier) feature.
This permission is used solely to access on-screen pixel data required to render a magnified view around the cursor.
– The app does NOT record or save video.
– The app does NOT capture or record audio.
– The app does NOT monitor the screen in the background.
– Screen data is processed in real-time and kept only in memory.
3. Screenshot Functionality
MouseMate provides an optional screenshot feature.
– Screenshots are captured only when the user explicitly triggers the action.
– Screenshots are stored only if the user chooses to save them.
– The app does not automatically store or upload screenshots.
4. On-Device Processing
All processing is performed locally on your device.
This includes:
– Image rendering
– Screenshot handling
– Optional text recognition (OCR)
MouseMate does not send any data to external servers.
5. Data Sharing
MouseMate does NOT share any data with:
– Third parties
– External services
– Analytics providers
6. Network Usage
MouseMate does not transmit screen data, images, or text over the internet.
7. User Control
All features that access screen content are:
– User-initiated
– Clearly visible
– Under user control

本アプリは、個人情報を収集・保存・送信しません。
以下の情報は取得しません：

・利用状況データ
・デバイス識別子
・画面の内容
2. 画面収録権限について
本アプリは、レンズ（拡大表示）機能をユーザーが有効にした場合にのみ、macOSの画面収録権限を要求します。
この権限は、カーソル周辺の画面を拡大表示するために必要なピクセル情報の取得のみに使用されます。
・動画の録画・保存は行いません
・音声の取得・録音は行いません
・バックグラウンドで画面を監視することはありません
・画面情報はリアルタイム処理のみで、保存されません
3. スクリーンショット機能
本アプリはスクリーンショット機能を提供します。
・ユーザー操作時のみ取得されます
・ユーザーが保存した場合のみ保存されます
・自動保存や外部送信は行いません
4. 端末内処理
すべての処理はユーザーのデバイス上で行われます。
・画像処理
・スクリーンショット処理
・文字認識（OCR）
いずれも外部サーバーには送信されません。
5. データ共有
本アプリは以下を行いません：
・第三者へのデータ提供
・外部サービスとの共有
・解析ツールへの送信
6. ネットワーク通信
本アプリは、画面情報・画像・文字データをインターネット経由で送信しません。
7. ユーザー操作
画面情報に関わる機能はすべて：
・ユーザー操作により実行され
・明示的に利用され
・ユーザーの管理下にあります
8. ポリシーの変更
本ポリシーは必要に応じて更新される場合があります。
